Full disclaimer: I am not using this as a paper towel holder, I am using this to store toilet paper. We are having storage issues in one of our small bathrooms. Since we can't stash extra toilet paper I bought this to discreetly place 2 extra rolls next to the toilet. Perfect. It easily holds 2 rolls and is completely invisible, although spotting it there is incredibly cute. I highly recommend it. Many toilet paper storage options are chunky, oversized, or garish in style. It's that simple and could apply to something made for that purpose. It works. No one doubts this is made for paper towels. However, it's incredibly cute and works absolutely well for paper towels too. Welding at the base is not seamless. So if you expect this to be a problem, consider investing more money in something that can be better manufactured. I will be buying 2 more to work as paper towel holders for our 2 mother in law units. I bought copper and it is very shiny, well weighted and exceeded my quality expectations at this price point. It reminds me of a product you can find at Target or Bed, Bath and Beyond, not Dollar Tree or a drug store. Enjoy shopping!
