Works perfectly! The soldering side is insulated with foam.

Worked great. Used to connect a secondary external power supply to the GPU power connectors on the secondary GPU. When connecting the SATA power supply and PSU ATX cable to this dongle, the secondary power supply followed the status of the main power supply. Brilliant!
