We really liked these glazes. To us they looked like pictures. I have a feeling that those who don't like Potter's Choice frosting might not be using it the way they would like. Each glaze in this family of glazes requires a slightly different application. Many of these are float glazes, the final appearance of which varies greatly depending on the thickness of the application and the firing temperature. I successfully fired a 6 cone as recommended. I found the following resource provided by the manufacturer incredibly helpful and without it I would have had a terrible experience with these glazes. see: http://www.amaco.com/learn-about-potters-choice-glazes/
