I used it for cheese and chocolate. The cheese grater is excellent and has shredded cheese that you can have on hand to add to recipes. A chocolate grater works well too, and I grated a large chunk of Trader Joe's candy bar to add to my bread. The best thing about this grater is that it's easy on your joints. The gripping plate holds the grated food while you push or pull it through the grate holes. Just don't forget to check that you've oriented the junction box correctly for use as a container!
