Our gauges were installed many years ago, long before we owned our home. And they needed some love. The product worked well to brighten up the countertops and seal some areas that had worn down over time. Our frames really need a sanding and redo but the wax/oil conditioner helped restore the color and it looks a lot better so we can wait now. Now I feel much more comfortable when the wood around the sink is also sealed. Water that hits the wood is repelled and collected in droplets instead of being absorbed by the wood, which contributes to wear. This is exactly the product I was looking for, it's as easy as rubbing and works exactly how I need it to. Now I plan to use it every week, rubbing in a thick layer of wax and letting it sit overnight. I wipe off excess oil easily, but because the wood needed it so badly, most soaked in the evenings through to the morning.
