I use these bits for turning in tight spots. They allow my tool to be closer to the jaws and still machine the workpiece. To me they leave a great finish on both mild steel and aluminum. The length of the tip has been excellent for my use so far and lasts long enough before the tip needs to be rotated onto a different surface. Excellent chip control and no chips when turning due to very narrow pint and sharp body angle. The price is right, the product is functional.
