shadow quality is good. The mounting hardware is thicker metal than the other kit I ordered and it also has a metal pull chain while the other kits are plastic. When installing the window frame, make sure you have a few inches of lumber to drive the screws into. With my windows, the area directly above was part of the window and the frame didn't have enough overhang so I had to improvise. A left/right mount would be better, but it's difficult to determine the correct width because the mounting hardware also takes up space.
