Not the best rug but for the price you can't beat it. Love its softness and softness. I added a pillow underneath for my office for the dog to lie on and she loves it. If there is something on it that needs washing off, try spot cleaning first. My husband gave his dog peanut butter kong and it got a brown spot. We washed one (bought 4) and it's not exactly the same. It's like the top layer of fur has separated from the bottom padding of the rug and I can't realign it properly. I used a hand wash cycle and then hung to dry. The carpet's softness returned after a quick vacuum (I use a Dyson v10 Absolute Stick). I just can't get rid of the waves completely. Perhaps in time they will even turn away.
