Pretty good quality. I chose this set because it doesn't include waxed floss or a dozen Emory boards, which count as 12 "items" in a 26-piece set. I have already selected 12 packs of yarn to purchase as the yarns included in most kits come in very dull colors. All I have to do (for now) is attach the leather cloak to the lightsaber hilt with baseball stitching. So I don't need a multi-million dollar kit. FYI, there are NO needles for sewing leather! This refers to large, blunt-tipped eyes. I thought it was stupid. But a few other types of needles. The awl is curved, and the awl is generally very small. I was really hoping that one of the other awls would be diamond or square like spikes, but no. I suppose when I get into leathercrafting I'll upgrade certain tools that I like. I also bought: a self-healing work mat, a set of leather needles, and a disc cutter.
