I personally wear size 8.5, according to the size chart it is recommended to choose size 9. I highly recommend going smaller if you prefer a half shoe size. The shoes would have been the best in a size 8, wish I saw a review like this when I bought it. The shoes are great and comfortable, I just wish I had bought a size 8 as they are too big and I feel like a clown (even bigger in the extra large crotch). The size chart should reflect that you should buy your size minus half.
