I have a cat that is probably clinically neurotic, and one of his foibles is to eat/chew on things that should not be eaten. He then throws it up, resulting in his nickname ‘Sir Barf‘s-a-lot.’It occurred to me that giving him random things to chew on (that he couldn’t swallow) might help. I bought some silver vine sticks, this chew toy and a green silicone crawdad looking thing. The orange disc is by far his favorite. He Is a ferocious chewer and did manage to remove and probably swallow one of the small ribbons in the first day and had chewed a chunk off the second by the second day, causing a cleanup. However we removed the ribbons and he is addicted to the disc. He hasn’t bothered anything else while he’s had it and is carrying it around. I’m not sure why as opposed to the other chew toys, but it’s a win and I’ll take it.
