You can use the installation instructions; and not made in USA

I just installed it on a blank trailer for my 17ft O'Day daysailer. The lack of instructions is a problem, especially if you've never installed one. Here are some tips I've learned the hard way: β€’ If your trailer tongue is over 2.5 inches thick (height), do not attempt to mount it so that the groove in the mounting plate is horizontal. All the pictures show it in this position, but it will be much stronger if the groove is oriented vertically. β€’ Make sure the detachable brackets are facing inward toward the trailer tongue with the flat side. β€’ Locate the single hole in the brackets above. , and some holes at the bottom. This allows you to insert the bolts so that they are as close as possible to the tongue. Overall it appears to be well made: the jack runs smoothly, good screws, mounting brackets and good nylon locknuts. And appears to have done well with the galvanizing. Time will tell how long this lasts. . . I don't believe this jack is made in the USA. Maybe a box.

Cons
