Review on 🪞 Vilros Magic Mirror V3- Raspberry Pi Smart Mirror Project Kit with Internal LCD for Easy Connectivity by Missy Cooper

Short version: I can report that the V3 of this product is from Vilros - This is is a high quality end product with excellent display brightness that performs well in both bright and dark indoor environments. Full version: I got one of these to keep me busy in March 2020 during the worst of the pandemic (not that I needed it, but you know how to do it). When I turned it on, I was disappointed that even in my dimly lit office, I could barely see any contrast between my poor reflection and the screen's low brightness. As the first reviews rolled in, you could tell the brightness was the biggest complaint. 18 months later. I noticed that it recently received an update with a link to: try again. As soon as I turned it on, I was amazed at how much brighter the screen got and how much tighter the contract was. I knew immediately it was a goalkeeper. I immediately installed DAKBOARD and MagicMirror and drove to town. If you're looking for a plug-and-play solution for an out-of-the-box installation of MagicMirror or DAKBoard pi, look no further. I have successfully powered the Pi Zero W and Pi 3 Model B+ directly from the internal power supply with no issues. . Both configurations fit in the frame. The $30 price increase is worth what you get if production stays constant. I just ordered another one as I want a different screen in a different part of the house. As soon as I have the opportunity to test the new device, I will let you know. Update: With portrait mode and normal use, I noticed that the viewing angles aren't that great. For mirror use this should be fine as you are relatively close and looking straight ahead. When used as a display, angles greater than 45 degrees decrease the contrast and tint (color) of the display. This increases my rating from 5 stars to 4.5. While this product is not perfect, it still gets 5 stars (4.5 star rating is not allowed). Imagine one of them as soon as possible.
