Review on 🍳 7-Piece GreenPan Venice Pro Stainless Steel Healthy Ceramic Nonstick Light Gray Cookware Set by Brittany Jackson

Exactly what I expected for the price

*****UPDATE: I've been cooking with this for a while and still reach for it often. They've never been in the dishwasher and are usually cleaned right after use, and the non-stick coating still works well - way better than traditional non-stick has ever held for me. Stainless steel looks great with the use of a bartender friend. The only complaint is a spot chipping of the coating on one frying pan. I don't normally use metal utensils, but once I had to, and so it turned out. It is therefore essential that you only use wooden or silicone utensils. Still very happy. ***** I've always loved to cook, but over the past year and a half I've taken it more seriously and realized that the tools I use are important. I've never thought about it and certainly never spent more than 150-200 on dishes. I started swapping out my non-stick Kaphalon for a fully encased copper core and was excited about the switch to stainless steel cooking. It was a significant investment, but it was worth it. i can see the difference However, sometimes all you need is a coated pan! And my husband, of course, is easier. When I saw this set as the deal of the day, I took the plunge. I wanted a ceramic nonstick coating because of the health factor - I don't mean that they claim nonstick means less oil. My only concern is exposure to chemicals/toxins - with ceramic, chemicals don't leach into your food. I assume ceramic is a bit more difficult to maintain and not as easy to maintain as traditional nonstick coatings, but to me it's worth it for my family's health. In terms of build, they are exactly what I would expect at a $400 price point. They are heavier because they are made of stainless steel and have a solid construction. From what I just made, they cook well and evenly - much better than my hard-andonized kacholan, which always had cold spots. The 5 liter pot has a spout and lid integrated into the pot. I like this feature because it makes pasta so much easier. The pots are also oven safe up to 400f, which is handy too, but I probably won't be using them like that. The bottom line is definitely quality pots and pans – from design to performance. In terms of care, yes they can be washed in the dishwasher, but the ceramic coating can deteriorate over time, so hand washing is probably best. It's also probably a good idea to steer clear of metal utensils, which they claim to be able to handle. I currently use a bartender friend for my stainless steel pots and pans and it's amazing - no bleach or abrasives to damage your set. There are also cleaners specifically designed for ceramics that I would like to try. With proper care, I hope they last at least a while, and hopefully manage to avoid the "slickness" that some reviewers have experienced. I assume that at some point they will need to be replaced - that the ceramic non-stick coating will deteriorate to the point that a new set will be required. It does, albeit with a traditional non-stick coating, so I expect it. I'll be back in 6 months - so far I'm impressed and have high hopes for this set based on my first use.
