I am by no means a wine expert and I do not have a trained wine pallet. The first time I used this aerator was the first time that I drank wine that was aerated and I immediately noticed the difference. The aerator was easy to use and washed up easily. I didn't use the wine stopper, but I tested it out before the wine was all gone for future reference. It worked well for my bottle of wine and neither the aerator or stopper dripped or leaked when I used them. It never occurred to me to try and store the bottle on its side as others have mentioned because of the vacuum feature. I think this product is a great value and recommend.
