Review on ๐Ÿ”ช Yugui 7ร—4.5 Microblading Practice Skin - High-Quality Supplies for Microblading Training by Amanda Davis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality skin for tattoo practice. However, do not confuse this with working on REAL skin.

This is a very solid offer for a fake or "practice" tattoo. As the name suggests, it is ideal for practicing and learning tattooing. I'm not sure but I think it will also help those who want to learn how to pierce. My own foray into tattooing began about 45 years ago when I was an art student. I did it as a hobby and was never a pro. Keep that in mind as you read this review. The training skin isn't all that different from others I've seen and used. One difference right away is that it's very pink. I've seen other training skins tend to be less so, some with a slightly whitish or slightly yellowish cast. The texture is very good, as is the thickness. It's extremely malleable and flexible, and you can place it on a person's arm or leg, for example, to get a realistic idea of how a person might feel like a tattoo. Make no mistake, this is still FAKE skin and will never reflect the many different types of real skin you will encounter when getting a tattoo. Some hides are tougher than others, while other hides bleed profusely. This skin will not replicate the type of real skin that bleeds profusely. Only work on genuine leather. When I was learning how to tattoo (if I remember correctly) artificial or trial skin was just starting to become more prevalent. but it was really terrible. The technique was lacking, the consistency wasn't like human skin, and working on it was a joke. Thats much better. In fact, I spent endless hours tattooing every bit of citrus I could find, from oranges and grapefruit to tiny lemons and limes. Other people I know have practiced with pigskin, which I felt was the closest thing to working with real people. Note that pigskins do not cry or faint. I was impressed by the fact that this set of training skins comes in 15 pieces, more than most offerings come in 10. It's a few bucks more expensive, but (in my humble opinion) well worth the extra cost. Also, it's two-sided. Some others don't. It should be noted that there are other practice skin kits that come with velcro straps to attach to someone's arm and slots in the four corners for these straps. I think it will be useful for a beginner. Just an offer to the seller of this kit. I look forward to the opportunity to practice a lot. Printed on both sides, these 15 sheets will provide many, many hours of opportunity to perfect your craft. I have posted some photos along with this review. The latter shows a test skin sheet from another manufacturer, which shows a clear difference in skin tone. Nothing wrong with that, just a different skin tone. Although it is also double-sided, it is significantly thinner than this skin. By the way, why aren't these workout skins available in skin tones for black and tan people? Wouldn't that make sense? I'm sure many tattoo artists will appreciate such a tool. I will only say.
