The O-rings supplied with the filter are the wrong size. To be specific, the diameter of the gasket itself is too large to fit into the engine casting or thru-bolt that contains the bypass. This created a time consuming problem as removing the old filter required new o-rings otherwise there was a possible oil leak. The new supplied O-rings could not be used. The application concerned a 1999 Kawasaki1100 engine - the website link indicates that this filter is applicable. The filter itself was an exact fit but not the o-rings needed to seal against leaks. I had to reuse old seals and am now faced with finding the right two O-rings. The diameter of the material itself is an issue and should not be confused with the large diameter of the two gaskets. The new gaskets didn't fit in the groove - not even close - no matter how hard I tried. If I tried to use them, I can be absolutely sure that there is a major leak - unexpected. Can happen on the road without warning.
