I make a lot of herbal balms based on olive oil, jojoba oil, and other base oils. To get them in ointment form, you need to add a certain amount of beeswax to help them stabilize and harden. on what you do. These beeswax balls in a handy 2 lb bag take the guesswork out of making the salve as you can add just the right amount and effectively avoid adding too much. I've also recently started exploring the wonderful world of candle making. I have found that when I add beeswax to soy or even paraffin wax it adds a wonderful scent and makes the candle almost silky. So far I'm very impressed.
