Easy to install, takes 15 minutes. The only thing that confuses me is the lack of protection for the edges of the box. They're not sharp, but can damage skin with a lot of friction, so I used a rubber pad (it looks like very thick duct tape) to cover the exposed edges of the sheet metal. I can warm up the intake pipe, it gets hot while driving. This changes the sound under the hood, the engine revved loudly when pressed, now it sounds like a smooth Flowmaster under the hood. Nice and throaty, faster throttle response. As for the mileage, we'll have to wait. I had 12 in the city and 15 on the highway. I did it with a full synthetic truck oil change, vent visor and tire pressure up to 40psi, try to save some gas on long freeway trips. I will report back on performance and maintenance in 6 months and 1 year.
