Review on 2009-2014 Ford F-150 LED High Mount Third Brake Light - Chrome Housing with Clear Lens by Scott Rodriguez

Third light arrived well packaged and looks great right away. The plastic is of good quality and the foam padding comes with a sticky adhesive that fills in the gaps well once installed. However, I have two issues with this light: 1. The white lights illuminating the truck bed aren't the brightest I've seen, and the temperature of the light isn't very well balanced - it looks cool in the spectrum, and it does not nearly as bright. as any truck lightbulb i have ever owned. 2. The angle of the light is weirdly wrong. It shoots straight out of the trunk, barely illuminating the bed. Whoever designed this light didn't have a truck bed in mind when designing the reflector for the truck light. In my opinion the purpose of the loading light is to eliminate the loading surface. However, this light is a fraction of the cost of an OEM replacement and meets my needs. For the price I paid it's definitely worth the money and it serves its main purpose well - a brake light. I probably wouldn't buy it again if this one broke as I really wish I had a working cargo light. But as a last resort, if I needed it and was trying to get rid of the ticket or whatever, I would have no problem buying it again when the other options were more than double the price.
