I've had my eye on the lime green KA blender for years, but could never justify spending money on it. I tried to buy a stand mixer for under $100 but decided I would regret the purchase due to the poor quality and plastic parts. Then I saw this light green cookle. Ooooh! There was a coupon that reduced the price to a fantastic price so I spent the money. And I don't regret it. I did some research on the brand first and was impressed by what I read about the motor and performance and that all the parts are metal. I noticed a few reviews about mixing parts that hit the bowl, but I decided to give it a try for 30 days and return it if it happened. I was immediately impressed by the solid, heavy construction. It's very well done. I've made pizza dough, 4 loaves of sandwich bread, 2 batches of cookies and 3 bun doughs many times - I've really tried different baits! And it's an AWESOME blender. Blenders don't bump into the sides of the bowl, and I rarely have to scrape the sides while blending. It's easy to clean, although the bowl is big enough that when soaked, it fills most of my sink or most of my dishwasher. She also looks so darn cute sitting on my desk! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a durable blender in great colors and not willing to shell out money for a big brand.
