Review on 🚗 Curt Front Receiver Hitch for Toyota Land Cruiser, Sequoia, Tundra - 2-Inch Receiver, Easy Installation by Tony Dago

Just installed a 31198 Curt receiver on the front of my 2016 Tundra Limited 4x4 CrewMax. I will be using it with a Curt 31010 mounting plate to attach a winch to the front of my truck. Instead of cutting a hole in the skid plate to allow access to the oil filter (as recommended) I just removed the skid plate entirely and made a rough mount out of a strip of aluminum (from Lowe's) to hold the plastic front bumper in place. In any case, this receiver will probably offer much better protection than this thin protective plate.
