My journey to MK Morse started with buying another brand in a red box. A lot of people used to work very hard to make this brand special, but the bandsaws I got from them were terrible. Garbage. Really terrible. Oh, they jumped and jumped and scraped and crooked and they were so bad they couldn't be used. I went online to Revain, read the reviews about MK Morse and decided to give it a try. Wow! And what's the difference. Right out of the box it was clear that the back of the blade was welded evenly along the seam. This resulted in a smooth run through the bandsaw guide blades - unlike the other brand which had a notch in the back where the two ends were welded together. The saw teeth were there too, unlike the other brand where the weld had turned some of the teeth into a bumpy, squishy blunt patch at the seam. The box it came in was pretty cool too, as it had a great American flag and instructions on how to get the most out of the blade and how to specify how many teeth to use for what type and size of material . And finally the haircut, yes the haircut is very good. Now there are other ways to cut metal (some are faster), but a band saw beats them all when it comes to precision. I can part my hair with this thing. Plus, the low prices mean I can stock a few spares for weekends or evenings when the hardware store is closed. This is indeed a typical American saw blade!
