Lake Warehouse delivery FAILED! Great product though!

Great bandsaws, terrible packaging. I have ordered this amazing product at least a dozen times. I mainly use them to cut steel and titanium. This is the best I've used. "Lake Warehouse" shipped my double order and decided to take the saws out of the box they came in, fold them up and I believe taped them to fit the smaller shipping container. This is a stupid and dangerous move. These things spring back when folded and snap back to their round shape immediately if the masking tape holding them…

Morse bimetal blades are infinitely superior to Milwaukee Chinese Mist

MK morse bimetal blades are to me the gold standard by which all other porta band saw blades should be measured. Recently, my blade supplier in North Chicago (a multi-generational industrial supplier) decided to stop selling MK blades because their tool supplier, Milwaukee Tool, complained and complained. I've been a long time fan of MORSE blades - so when I grumbled and tried some Milwaukee blades - I was furious! 2-3 cuts on a 1/2 square stainless steel rod and the Milwaukee blades were…

Welds tear quickly with thicker cuts.

Update - April 2020 - My second batch of blades didn't last nearly as well as the first. I've already snapped 2 out of 3 blades and spent less than an hour on them altogether. I cut 2" square tubes using 1/4" 3/8" hot rolled sheet metal and 1/4" hot rolled sheet metal. The blades cut well, but the welds don't hold up well on thicker cuts. -2 stars. I use them (8/11 pitch) on a portable HF band that I built a base for. I use it as a small band saw to cut various A36 steels (C section, angle…

My journey to MK Morse started with buying another brand in a red box. A lot of people used to work very hard to make this brand special, but the bandsaws I got from them were terrible. Garbage. Really terrible. Oh, they jumped and jumped and scraped and crooked and they were so bad they couldn't be used. I went online to Revain, read the reviews about MK Morse and decided to give it a try. Wow! And what's the difference. Right out of the box it was clear that the back of the blade was welded…

Surprisingly smooth when driving slowly through sheet steel

To be honest I was thrilled. how amazingly well they worked. Please allow me to explain. As a newbie to band saws, I was VERY wary of their power and potential danger. I worked as hard as I could. Clamp the workpiece securely. I carefully adjusted the blade and ran the saw at the LOWEST speed powered by this 10 amp motor to ensure the blade fell around the drive wheels and guides. Only then did I dare to increase the speed to #2 by gently pressing the blade against the flat, broad side of the…

I've tried them all, Morse is the best blade.

I've used Milwaukee band saws and they suck compared to these MK Morse blades. Milwaukee blades are band welded and have very poor alignment at the two ends where they are welded together. This causes the saw to jump every time the weld goes through the cut. And they jump furiously. But these morse blades have excellent weld end alignment, and when they go through the cut you don't even know it. In addition, Morse blades have much better steel and heat treatment. The sharp edges are made of a…
