Kitchen and Dining Frustration

After our old and trusted Bodum French Press coffee maker broke, we decided to buy a shatterproof version. It claims to be safety glass, but make no mistake, it's not glass, it's PLASTIC - lighter and cheaper plastic. To make matters worse, the press's screen doesn't keep the ground coffee in the bottom of the "glass" container. See attached photo. Big disappointment. Wouldn't recommend it to any friend. =
