Review on 🐾 Pearhead Happy Howlidays Wood Pet Picture Frame Ornament - Rustic Holiday Décor by Lacey Barbee

Very good material for printing.

Overall this is a good and inexpensive project to honor your furry little one. The tools are basic and items you could collect from home, but everything is packaged in a handy ready-to-use box. The instructions are simple, but in a dozen languages - don't let the extra text confuse you! It is helpful to read the instructions first to get a general idea of what activity you will be undertaking. There are a few things to keep in mind: 1) Work quickly with the impression material. If you have experience with plasticine or plasticine, that's a bonus. The impression material is sealed in a foil pouch and when you open it you will find the mound half wrapped in plastic wrap. It's a malleable material with a pleasant (coconut oil?) smell. It's a little sticky, but you can take the impression material, roll it into a ball, and use the material itself to scrape the residue off the plastic wrap. 2) Work in a clean work area and make sure your fur baby is nearby and ready to take a clean paw print. My prints showed dust particles that didn't look as clean as the picture on the box. 3) You will need to provide your own aluminum foil to line your work surface and allow your decoration to dry. Rather than making one large piece of jewelry, I quickly divided the molding material into four parts (two round parts, one organic and one heart). shaped paperweight). This benefited me as my dog is small and I was able to do some prints with her little paw. This may not be possible with a larger dog, such as a St. Bernard (or other large pawed breed). If you have old cookie cutters in the shape you want, this is an especially useful tool for digging out, as I had to manually sculpt my heart shape. In general, I liked to use this material and I recommend buying it, especially for those who know how to make souvenirs. The material is relatively easy to use and not as messy as clay. Because you don't have to bake the decoration, it has less impact and requires less maintenance, but it does take a few days to fully dry. This can be something to consider when working with tighter deadlines.
