Breaks easily - Cats

Ie it is very easy to use. This is a big plus. What I'm knocking is the fact that it doesn't really get tough and can tear/break easily if you're not careful. I had a few pieces left over when I made the circle and I made several different shapes out of them. I checked both after 2 days. The pieces I made were brittle. As stated, they were dry after 10 hours, but very soft. The pieces I made broke very easily. Circle with paw print. I made it thick but. it is so soft. 2 weeks have passed since…

Decent set for the price. practice helps. Tips are included below.

I recently bought this set for my elderly dog before he passed away. The day he moved in I remembered I had a kit and started working on it. I had to knead the material several times after it went bad. I also found the included roller to be almost useless so I used a full size rolling pin which worked great. Also, moistening the paw is crucial for a good print, as the material tends to stick to the paws and then peel off (like chewing gum) and ruin the print. Make sure there are no lint, folds,

Great for special dog memories

I bought this because my girlfriend's dog is on the verge of death and I wanted to give my girlfriend tangible memories. She always has a great Christmas tree so I figured it would be the right gift. The instructions are simple (and in multiple languages); However, the plastic cutting circle is MUCH large for a Christmas decoration: see photo. What I did was roll out the dough and use the large glass lid to separate the circle from the roll. I also used letter beads to write the dog's name and…

Everlasting treasures ❤️

I really like these pieces of jewelry. I ended up using a heart shaped cookie cutter instead of the circle it came with and I'm very happy with the result. You will see on one of the photos that I didn't think to wash one of my dogs paws beforehand 😂 so there is some dirt on it but I really like it because for some reason he always has dirty paws lol but this is just a tip for you all. It was a little tricky getting my pups to cooperate (for obvious reasons) so I recommend doing this with…

Requires skill, but forgives mistakes

This is not cement, more Styrofoam or Model Magic. Aside from that, you can always roll up the clay and start over if you are unsatisfied. My dog was ok the first time but I knew I could do better so I did it again. The rolling pin that comes with it is just a plastic tube, so if you have a regular rolling pin I recommend it. Make sure your hands, paw and surfaces are clean, then roll out on aluminum foil and transfer to a book or plate. Let your pet rest, this will help it go smoothly. I found

Helps us remember our boy - arrived RIGHT on time

My cat was battling cancer and what we thought was a tumor due to the side effects of the radiation was actually a second tumor. In fact, we went from thinking we've been with him for at least 2 years to understanding we only have a few days. I was able to order this and thank god it arrived on time and it was pretty easy to grab its print and just let it dry. I like 3 ribbon options. We were able to adjust both of his front legs because there is so much room. Finally, many thanks to the…

Easy to use allows you to get creative

Got one of these as a gift for my only dog, now that I have a second one I wanted to pair it with her. First, it will never be hard jewelry. It's not a paste that sets, you don't bake it or anything. It's almost like a waxy texture of playdough that you roll out, paw in and then sets slightly and becomes rubbery within 24 hours. You actually get enough in one to make more than one decoration if you make them smaller than the included cutter (they supply you with everything except foil, which…

Very good material for printing.

Overall this is a good and inexpensive project to honor your furry little one. The tools are basic and items you could collect from home, but everything is packaged in a handy ready-to-use box. The instructions are simple, but in a dozen languages - don't let the extra text confuse you! It is helpful to read the instructions first to get a general idea of what activity you will be undertaking. There are a few things to keep in mind: 1) Work quickly with the impression material. If you have…
