I've been wondering which CF tripod to buy for PRS/NRL for over a year. I tried RRS, Benro, Monfroto. You can call it if anyone has. Here are my criteria for buying a CF tripod: Light enough to pack in the Colorado mountains, but strong enough to withstand the wind. CHECK - the head is the right size to easily fit the available platforms and accessories. CHECK - Adjustable height that isn't excessive but allows me to adjust glass or pistol without leaning or reaching. CHECK - can I put this in my Eberlestock backpack so it doesn't stick out of the terrain when hunting or between stages of a match? CHECK – Did I have to take out a second mortgage or sell my dog to buy one? CHECK OVER. I'm an engineer and I critically evaluate the products I use to see how their form, fit, or function can be improved. Honestly, not much to see here folks. All is well! The LN-324C meets my criteria. The only minor thing missing are spiked legs, but the aftermarket covers that. I also bought a Leofoto LH-55 ball head which is also mounted on a tripod. Both OEC cameras were in stock and I received my order in just 2 days! Great item, great seller! I would recommend this to my brother. And I like my brother!
