I just received this and once I had the two main components together I made my decision. He comes back. The landing is so messy. There is approx. 1 mm play in each direction between the two main parts. The ball with the pin rattles with probably 0.01 inch play. The pins that hold the ball bearing on the shaft have significant play in the holes. And that is the most pleasant. The receiver shaft has about 2mm of play in a 2 inch diameter receiver. I was done before I even got to that point, but I wanted to see how bad things were. This is bad! I may have an older version as it looks like someone did the exact same thing as me (sent it back) but actually attached a tag to it as there is a mark on the shaft that looks like weight has been applied , and a little black paint as well. I know they should leave more space between different types of material to allow for different compression ratios when expanding. I also know that there has to be a place to keep them from sticking together. However, two main parts that are both said to be made out of the same type of aluminum can't fit closer together, can they? tolerate. Ridiculous failure between major and receiver, I can't do that.
