Because books for beginner knitters are such a hot topic, I'm very thankful that there are still a few publishers that are still putting out books that experienced knitters love. I love colored knitting, so I'm thrilled that 16 of the 26 patterns in this book are colored socks. Around the World in Knitted Socks features patterns from traditional knitting locations such as Scotland and Norway, as well as patterns inspired by Italy and Switzerland. Knit trim, embroidery, side construction, travel stitching, beading. It's been many years since I've seen a book that had so many twisted sock patterns I want to make.
