I've installed a few cabinets over the years and I'm currently remodeling my home office. Last month I build several cabinets for own home office remodel which includes a few lower cabinets, 4 upper cabinets and 4 floor to ceiling lower hutch sections with upper book shelf sections 10' tall together. Hadn't even considered a specialty item such as this but just happened to notice it on Ebay and quickly ordered the 2-pack set. While I've not yet moved the cabinets into the office yet I have placed several cabinets together and tested this items use. All I can say is wow. this is going to cut installation time, clamp the mating cabinets together firmly and without risk of marking the wood that other clamps can cause.First opening the box I saw the two clamp each individually packaged in clear plastic ziplock bags. Personally I'd have really liked to see them packaged a bit better but oh well. The box fits them well enough and there wasn't any handling marks. Removing them from the bags you can feel their weight and cool smooth finish. While you definitely feel them they aren't heavy but pretty much exactly what you'd think they weigh. The finish is smooth and the edges and corners are all nicely rounded over. The rubber pad inside that protect the wood during use are soft and perfectly sized for each location. They each seem to be well adhered as well with no lifting edges. Turning the two clamps fully open and then closed is effortlessly easy and surprisingly smooth. Few tools I own, if any, with threads turn as smooth as these did. The guide hold for drilled accurately slides easily back and forth and snugs up quick and firmly by turning the knob.Of note. they do turn left-handed which was different but in no way detracts from these top quality specialty cabinetry clamps. The main body is CNC aluminum with stainless screw threads and hardware and hardened steal for the guide hole for drilling. Everything about these (except for their packaging) is top quality from the materials to finish. As for the packaging, a retail outer box instead of the simple brown box would be nice. Take it a step further and include a nice protective case with foam insert which they could set in would be great. I'm going to order an additional set and I'll create some additional sawdust by making a nice wood case for the 4 of these later. Can easily recommend these to anyone installing cabinets. Their quality and way they will hold the cabinets together safely without any marks of damage absolutely makes these worth the purchase.
