Review on πŸš€ Hawk SuperDuty Brake Pad - HB589P.704 with Enhanced Performance by Kyle Hood

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Stop great buy headphones too!

They are loud. And it comes from someone who used to have Hawk pads. First set of Hawk Truck Pads. They grip just like you would expect and greatly improve stopping power. But these are perhaps the loudest pads I've ever had. Creaks, squeaks and sounds like metal all the time. And before anyone says maybe you didn't install them properly, I make a living at the dealership. I've braked this truck (my own) a few times and I've had the same truck before and I've done brakes on it. I used to always drive with factory Toyota pads but wanted to upgrade them. I have had several different EBC, Stop-Tech and Brembo pads, Hawk. It is undoubtedly the loudest.

Pros
  • SD (SuperDuty) - Heavy truck brake compound
Cons
  • Some problems
