Review on Honeywell 52 Inch Tropical Ceiling Outdoor by Krystal Simmons

Beautiful fan - not the easiest of blades to put together

We bought 4 fans for our new home - all in a similar palm leaf style. Some from Honeywell, some from another brand. Of the 4 fans, this one was the most difficult to assemble. I'm not sure if the engineer ever put this thing together. The blades require you to install a rubber grommet between the paddle's metal mount and the blade itself, and push the screws all the way through the top of the blade. It would be a lot easier if the screws were fixed in holes so they wouldn't fall out when you lift them overhead (other brands have used this feature and it's easier to install - pardon the pun). Aesthetically this fan is excellent. It has 2 blade options so you can flip it over if you want the rattan weave to look better or you want to use the palm design. I installed this in my office and am very happy with the amount of airflow it pushes and how quiet it is when running. I chose a surface/dense ceiling mount and didn't use the included bottom bar since my ceiling is only 8ft. I despise overhead lighting and was happy to find a quality unlit fan.
