Looks like a drop mount. Aluminum is strong. The problem comes from the screws. With the spacers added as shown in the photos, the bolts will not thread onto the large bar mounts. They are threaded without spacers, but with any tension, they begin to clean the threaded hole. This means the bolts are slightly smaller than the hole and will not work to secure the mount and a tight fit to the handlebars. It needs to be emphasized in the description that these bolts will ONLY fit standard smaller diameter handlebars, not MT gravel or bike handlebars. This mount is a waste of money if you have larger diameter handlebars.
