Review on Klein Tools CL220 Digital Clamp Meter - Auto-Ranging, 400 Amp AC, AC/DC Voltage, TRMS, Resistance, Continuity, NCVT Detection, and Temp by Chris Drury

My friend drew my attention to this instrument. For some reason this meter is the only one that reliably gives accurate readings on the ground or neutral wire. I have 3 other ammeters, all from well-known manufacturers in the industry, and not cheap either. None of them read readings with the same accuracy as this device. After receiving it I tried it at home with two other gauges and then at a local factory I make something for. On hot wires, everything reads about the same. On neutral or ground the other 2 I have would read 0 or a very low reading. This would show a realistic and higher number. For example, with a 240 volt, 5 hp, single phase motor running at about 60% load, the hot halves showed 16.7 amps on all gauges. but of course 2 of them showed 1.2 and 2.4 respectively. This Kline meter showed 9.7, which it should be.
