Great thimble for those who need to keep their fingertip open for better needle control. I've been looking for something like this for cross stitch for a long time and was thrilled when I found this and it worked great! I sewed the leather ends a bit tighter for a snug fit, so it was nice to be able to customize the thimble to my needs. DISCLAIMER: Several reviews stated that the package contained 3 thimbles, not 2 as stated in the description. I have to admit I was disappointed when I only got 2 packs while everyone else got 3 thimbles instead. Just thought I'd mention the fact that the reviewers who got a 3 were probably just lucky compared to those of us who got a 2, so don't expect to get a 3 just in case .
