I liked them better than other Clover leather thimbles.

There were two thimbles in the package. I have very thin fingers so it was too big for my thumb. However, I was able to take some yarn and tie it around part of the rope to reduce the circumference of the skin (this also helps make the end knot bigger so I don't worry about the original knot slipping through the hole) . the skin). Would definitely buy again, I liked it better than the other Clover leather thimble that completely encloses the finger.

Poor design, fell apart after one use

I am very disappointed in them. They are fastened at the back with a small thread with a knot on each side. After just one use, the knot slipped through the hole and fell off my finger. Then I put another one on and it did the same thing. Aside from opening up, which I can fix, they're too big for my figure. I had to pinch it with my other fingers to keep it from moving. Clove usually makes really good products so I'm surprised they don't live up to the Clover name. Or maybe it was user error…

Unusable without adjustments

These thimbles are *unusable* without packaging. The plastic part is SICK. At least it's removable, otherwise they'd go straight to the trash. Unfortunately, even without the plastic part, the thimble is HUGE (literally too big, even for my husband's thumb). I had to use an awl and mat to poke new holes to pull it tight enough so it doesn't fall off, but this leaves a huge ledge of excess material on the back which is really annoying. Even if none of this were the case, the strap is not wide…

PERFECT for cross stitch!

Great thimble for those who need to keep their fingertip open for better needle control. I've been looking for something like this for cross stitch for a long time and was thrilled when I found this and it worked great! I sewed the leather ends a bit tighter for a snug fit, so it was nice to be able to customize the thimble to my needs. DISCLAIMER: Several reviews stated that the package contained 3 thimbles, not 2 as stated in the description. I have to admit I was disappointed when I only got
