After several months of researching air purifiers I settled on the Cleanforceair Mega 1000. I'm glad I stumbled across this when one of the reviewers for another air purifier mentioned Cleanforceair by name, otherwise surprisingly it doesn't show up in the first few pages of Revain search results, if at all. One of the most popular titles removed automatic features and an air quality monitor from its latest release, which I thought was a rejection given the dramatic drop in ratings following its new release. Cleanforceair has all of these features and then some, including remote control, two step dimming and lights off, color coded air quality indicators, a timer function, excellent large dense air filters, superb build quality and very responsive and quick support (which I will say, from several emails exchanged with them). I find their product to be very reasonably priced and offer the best bang for your buck, as do the filters. When I looked at some other air purifiers of this size, I found that they either lacked all of these features available in the Mega1000, or the filters were more expensive, unavailable, or had prohibitive shipping costs. On paper Cleanforceair seemed like a great product and it actually came true after I got my first unit, but with only a few reviews I wanted to do a bit of digging. I found the company something new. I emailed them how good their product is and that I would be very interested in buying a second one as my house is bigger (for a second floor) if they offer a 5 year warranty instead of 2 years would offer. To which they replied that they are considering extending the warranty to 5 years for all registered users and would be happy to offer me that. After 10 days I ordered the second device and I have to say that I am very satisfied with the product. I usually turn it on at full fan speed on a 1 hour timer taking care of the air quality downstairs, kitchen etc. Sometimes I leave the downstairs and upstairs units on Auto, which I find very convenient. At night there is a sleep mode that turns off the lights on the device and keeps the fan speed and noise level to a minimum. However, it is a fairly quiet and reliable machine. Since then, my sinus headaches have decreased significantly. I don't usually take the time to write reviews but I took the time to write this one as it is well deserved and can be really helpful to end users. I am in no way affiliated with Cleanforceair except as a grateful customer. I hope their support is always as responsive and filter refills are always available.
