I was hoping that the bulk of this bag material would offer convenience and cost savings. After all, which are a few reasons why we all collect vacuum freezer bags, right? Well, a lot of the seals on those bags didn't work. I have been using a Food Saver machine for over 10 years and at that time exclusively used Food Saver bags with very few broken seals. In the last 2 months about 50-60% of all the seals I've made with these bags have failed in the freezer. Now I don't rummage through my freezer anymore and I don't knock with all sorts of things. I have a log of where things are and they are frozen and never touched until I want that particular item. Then the next packet comes from the top of its stack. Therefore, with minimal movement/handling of sealed and frozen items, an unacceptable number of these packages fail. At the same time, I used up the last of the materials for the bag of my name, and none of these seals made at the same time failed. But more than half of those bags were unsuccessful. Disappointing.
