First off I would say this vacuum is definitely a 10/10 and I would probably call it the Roomba Jr. It works as expected, cleans well, is relatively quiet and hands-free. However, due to the size of my apartment, which also has two short-pile carpets, I have to watch out for the running vacuum cleaner. Of the three times I've used it so far, it has stuck twice - once to the edge of the rug and once to a tapped cord. I have to compare it to Roomba because there were two of us growing up in our house. The main differences I noticed were that this vacuum doesn't come with invisible sensors, so you actually have to close doors or physically cordon off areas (like stairs) where you don't want it. It also doesn't feel muddy like the Roomba, meaning it'll go straight through a dust pile and might not come back for a while, or not at all (it just follows a few patterns). All in all I would definitely recommend it for someone on a budget and for small spaces.
