This is a great cheap alternative to the NZXT's internal USB hub, but if the NZXT is available buy it instead. This is an easy way to split a USB 2.0Mb header into 3 additional headers and 2 additional USB-A connectors. However, the SATA power input will NOT work well with your motherboard. These circuits are not properly isolated and will result in strange cold start behavior and will most often overload the power supply and trigger its safety mechanism. For now, I'm leaving the SATA power off for the sake of my system's security and stability. I encourage the OEMs of this product to speak up about this issue and seek a solution.
