Review on Crazy Skates Evoke: Stylish Suede Quad Skates for Women by Jay Campbell

Let me start by saying they arrived much earlier than expected in just 2 days! I rode regular vinyl boots, a 10 degree nylon plate and crazy skate wheels (I love their street wheels so I already knew these wheels would be awesome). I wanted to switch to suede boots and better skateboards but all Moxi shoes are already sold out. I saw them at Revain and jumped at the chance to buy them. First, the suitcase is amazing. This gave an extra touch to opening the box. Second, the skates look incredibly good live. They really focused on the details here, every aspect of these skates is beautiful. In terms of performance, I'll admit that these are my first really high quality skates in this price range. Because of the 20 degree plate it is much more reactive. Some people might not like the reactivity when you spin, but my old skates felt so clunky that I really appreciated the smooth ride. The suede and lining are very comfortable. I have wide feet and I usually wear a normal size 6. I ordered a size 5 and they fit great! I might even go to a 4.5 if it were available, but my feet are nice and snug and the suede hugs my wide feet. Much lighter than vinyl boots. Overall I was pleasantly surprised and incredibly happy with the skates. Turquoise is BEAUTIFUL (and my favorite color too) but if I could afford more pairs I would buy one in each color! If you are looking for quality skates and don't want to wait or pre-order like many skate companies do these days, I would recommend purchasing these skates. They are one of the few that have bearings and seem to be really great skates so far.
