Works well for me

Bought this a few weeks ago and have had no problems with it. Details: The indication of 15,000 rpm seems to be correct. Good torque. The larger diameter flexible shaft on this device means that the flexible shaft is not a quick change wrench. So you can't quickly switch to a hammer or chisel. (But they do have a stronger stock as a compromise.) The grip doesn't get hot in my hand and whipping seems normal. Much better than a manual "Dremel".
