I love the idea of this product but one thing I would suggest if you are considering buying it is get yourself a weight (metal plate or sandbag) for the To get corners of the carpet. The mat itself is fairly light and will blow away in moderate to strong winds. I am currently using it to catch an oil leak from my car parked in the driveway. It definitely catches oil, but in strong winds the mat just folds up on its own. Otherwise an excellent product. The bottom/bottom is made of felt fabric, similar to a mat, and the top is rubber to prevent leaks such as oil from entering.
