Full disclosure: I don't have a laptop. It would make a great portable table for that if I did. It features angle adjustment so you can tilt it to get the right angle for better performance. It is also height adjustable. Probably a good fit for most people's height needs and expectations. It has a built-in USB powered fan! Features built-in laptop and mouse trays to keep them on the desk from any angle. Conveniently folds for easy storage. that I can use my iPad in bed. My iPad isn't exactly light, but certainly not as heavy as a laptop. My hands get tired holding it and I have shoulder problems, so using it lying on my left and right sides is not optimal. I needed something that would allow me to lie on my back with my head on a pillow and have an inclined surface that would hold my iPad at just the right distance so I could surf, work, etc. If you are in bed and need table then this one is suitable for that. Everything about it is great except for the tilt adjustment. I need more angles. This allows only 30 degrees from horizontal. I need maybe 45 degrees. For the average person, "normal" use, etc., adjusting the angle is fine. A few small notes. As can be seen in the third photo, the fan's power cord is pushing down on the fan's plastic casing. There is no cut-out for the cable. It's not something you look at that doesn't sacrifice performance, but it does show how they're sacrificing. This causes tension in the plastic housing and can eventually tear. While there's aluminum in the legs, this thing uses a lot of plastic. Plastic moving parts and stress areas are more likely to fail than metal ones. Built for the price and this thing doesn't come cheap. Plus, it's lightweight, looks well built, has several thoughtful features, a nice washable finish, and with good care will last for years.
