Fantastic filter for my MK7 GTI!

No need to buy an expensive air intake when tuning your GTI performance. If you want fun sounds then yes, choose one from APR or Unitronic or any number of companies that make good sound. However, if you just want increased airflow to get level 1+ and up, here's all you need to do. Of course, order this fantastic K&N air filter for your MK7 GTI first. I could have bought it locally but took my time and saved some money by buying it through Revain. Then take out the air filter and then remove the slotted base. It has a few tabs to help you open it. Then simply reinstall the filter box and insert the filter! That's all! I run my 2017 GTI with a Cobb Access Port and use a Stage 1+ octane file at 91. The machine is much faster than stock. For those who are hesitant to use this non-slotted bottom filter, this suggestion came from a friend of mine who works for RallySportDirect.com. He got a tip from another employee who works in their R&D department. Formerly he was R&D for ECSTuning and his specialty was VW and Audi vehicles. He has seen many third stage GTIs using the same intake configuration. He's tested airflow with all the top brands and the results show no difference and better airflow in some cases. Enjoy!
