Updated with IMPORTANT information! they were confiscated from me by airport security in Belgium. On this trip I took them through several airports in Europe and the US, but they were not allowed into Belgium. So for travel I switched to wooden knitting needles. I still loved them and may have to re-order them. I'm keeping 5 stars as it was my fault and not the needles! (I asked the TSA people to donate them to a good knitter.) These are very good, smooth, easy-to-use knitting needles. They are quite sharp, even more so than my woods, which makes them suitable for some yarns, especially decreases and crochet. I've already made 3 pairs of socks with them and I love having all the sizing options ready to try on.
