To replace a very old kettle. Nothing special to say, it seems to work well, but nothing special. When I first used it I thought there was a strange noise coming from outside and I didn't realize it was the kettle's whistle - it makes a strange but not unpleasant noise. My complaint with most kettles is that the lid is difficult to remove, but this one isn't too bad. That should work.
