Not John Deere Green. Not Extinct Green I have no idea what the original name was. The pattern shown on my monitor is nowhere near colored, but it is neither light green nor dark green. It has a slightly different twist and looks than the Super Saver. I bought this to fit on part of a very old Super Saver skein that doesn't have a stripe and it doesn't. In general, Red Heart yarn is what I've used on most of my projects over the last 40+ years. He's recovered from that fiasco with one-stop folding doors and spares, plus some pain from painting. However, the Classic appears to be slightly thinner and different than the Super Saver. I still give it five stars because it's a good yarn and I'm going to use it for the project. It's not their fault it didn't come close to a yarn that was probably made in the 70's or 80's.
