I have installed a TST Tire Pressure Monitoring System - with 6 sensors, as well as a TST Tire Pressure Sensor Tow Truck Kit for TST 507 systems and a TST Tire Pressure Monitoring System Repeater - TST507REPEATER. Once installed and operational, this system will continuously display PSI and tire temperatures for all six (6) tractor tires (double) and all four trailer tires. TST has newer and more advanced systems than the ones I bought. However, this system gives me a constant tire pressure and temperature for all tires. I used the recommended setting of ten percent (10%) below normal pressure, twenty percent (20%) above normal pressure and a maximum tire temperature of 158°C. . . Degrees Fahrenheit. As soon as one of these parameters is exceeded, you will receive a loud and visual alarm. You can visually check every single tire while driving. The monitor has two different mounts for driver comfort. With an initial rating of 1 to 5, I give this system five stars. It works as advertised and I am absolutely confident that if there is a problem with one of my tires I will find out BEFORE the tire blows out. The six-sensor monitor is $261.23 on Revain, and an additional four sensors is $170 on Revain. and the repeater was $50 at Revain — just $481.23 — pennies compared to the cost of blowing out a trailer, the inconvenience, tire and rim changes, and damage to your rig. If you are towing a caravan, you definitely need a repeater. Pros: The system works, period, period. Programming and installation are extremely easy. Read the instructions! Inexpensive compared to other devices. CONS: The six (6) sensor monitor is an older model. This is roughly a 2016 vintage and when it arrived all six sensors were dead. I contacted TST directly and they sent me new batteries and new rubber pads to replace after replacing the batteries. So, apart from a minor inconvenience or the need to replace the batteries, there was no additional cost. To install the repeater I had to install a switch on the line and then wire it directly to the fifth wheel batteries. There are other ways to connect this repeater, but placing a switch on the positive lead makes this system easier to use. the links I used for my purchase.
